Responsible
Gaming at bet25
At bet25, we believe gambling should always be an enjoyable form of entertainment — never a source of financial pressure or personal harm. Our responsible gaming framework gives every Pakistani player the tools and knowledge to stay in control at all times.
Six Tools to Keep Your Gaming Responsible
These tools are available directly in your bet25 account dashboard. You can activate or adjust them at any time. Tightening limits takes effect immediately; loosening them is subject to a 7-day cooling-off period to protect you.
Deposit Limits
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly PKR deposit cap on your bet25 account. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. You can lower your limit at any time and it takes effect immediately.
Loss Limits
Define the maximum amount in PKR you are willing to lose within a set period. When that threshold is hit, your account is automatically restricted from further gameplay until the limit period resets. A useful safeguard against chasing losses.
Session Time Limits
Set a maximum session duration — from 30 minutes to several hours. When your time is up, bet25 will display a prominent reminder and log you out automatically if you choose. Time limits are an effective way to prevent extended play sessions.
Cool-Off Period
Take a planned break from bet25 for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. During a cool-off period your account remains open but you cannot log in, deposit, or place bets. Marketing communications are also suspended during this time.
Self-Exclusion
If you feel gambling is becoming a problem, you can permanently self-exclude from bet25 for a minimum of 6 months. Self-exclusion takes effect within 24 hours and cannot be reversed during the exclusion period. This is our strongest protective tool, and we take it seriously.
Reality Checks
Enable periodic reality-check notifications that pop up during your gaming session to show you how long you have been playing and how much you have spent in PKR. These gentle reminders help you stay aware and make informed decisions about whether to continue.
How to access your tools: Log in to your bet25 account, navigate to Account Settings, and select the "Responsible Gaming" tab. All six tools are available there. Our 24/7 support team at [email protected] can also help you activate any of these tools immediately if you need assistance.
Is Gambling Becoming a Problem?
Problem gambling can develop gradually and is not always easy to recognise in yourself. The signs below are widely used indicators that your relationship with gambling may be shifting from entertainment to harm. If you recognise several of these in your own behaviour, we strongly encourage you to reach out for support.
If three or more of these signs apply to you, please consider activating a self-exclusion or reaching out to a counselling service. There is no shame in asking for help — it is a sign of strength.
Chasing losses: Betting more money to try to win back what you have already lost, leading to larger and larger bets.
Secrecy and hiding: Feeling the need to keep your gambling activity secret from family members or friends in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, or wherever you live.
Borrowing money to gamble: Taking loans or asking family for money specifically to fund gambling, or using funds intended for rent, bills, or daily expenses.
Neglecting responsibilities: Missing work, skipping family commitments, or letting important tasks slide because of time or money spent on gambling.
Emotional distress when not gambling: Feeling restless, irritable, anxious, or low in mood when not gambling, or when attempting to reduce gambling activity.
Escalating stakes: Needing to bet increasing amounts of PKR to feel the same level of excitement that smaller bets used to provide.
Withdrawing from social life: Reduced interest in hobbies, social gatherings, or relationships that previously brought you enjoyment, in favour of gambling.
Failed attempts to stop: Repeatedly trying to cut down or stop gambling entirely but finding yourself returning to it despite genuine efforts to quit.
Honest Questions Worth Asking Yourself
This self-assessment is not a diagnostic tool, but reflecting honestly on these questions is a healthy first step in understanding your relationship with gambling.
Have you ever gambled with money that was set aside for essential expenses like household bills, groceries, or rent?
Do you find it difficult to stop gambling once you have started, even when you had planned to play for only a short time?
Have you lied to someone close to you about how much time or money you have spent gambling?
Do you feel a compulsive urge to continue playing specifically when you are losing, in order to get your money back?
Has gambling caused arguments, tension, or worry in your relationships with family or friends?
Do you find yourself thinking about gambling frequently throughout the day, even when you are not actively playing?
Have you borrowed money, sold personal items, or used credit specifically to fund gambling sessions?
Have you ever felt depressed, anxious, or hopeless as a direct result of your gambling activity?
If you answered "yes" to two or more of these questions, we encourage you to use bet25's responsible gaming tools — starting with a cool-off period or self-exclusion — and to consider speaking with a professional counsellor. You can reach our support team at any time at [email protected] for a confidential conversation.

Activate Self-Exclusion
Log in to your bet25 account, go to Responsible Gaming settings, and choose "Self-Exclude". Select a period of 6 months, 1 year, or indefinitely. The exclusion activates within 24 hours and cannot be reversed during the chosen period. All marketing from bet25 will stop immediately.
Talk to a Professional Counsellor
Professional counselling is the most effective long-term support for problem gambling. Qualified mental health professionals and addiction counsellors are available across Pakistan — including in major cities like Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi. Your personal doctor (GP) can provide a referral to an appropriate service in your area.
Talk to Someone You Trust
Sharing your concerns with a trusted family member or close friend can be a powerful first step. People who care about you can offer emotional support, help you stay accountable, and assist you in accessing professional help if you need it. You do not have to manage this alone.
A note on financial recovery: If gambling has caused financial difficulties, consider speaking with a financial counsellor alongside any gambling support. Managing debt and financial stress in parallel with addressing the gambling behaviour gives you the strongest foundation for long-term recovery. bet25 recommends seeking certified professional advice for both dimensions of the problem.
